What is Tracing the Steps?

The existing landscape of resources for Sexual Assault survivors is overwhelming, disjointed, and doesn't meet the survivor where they are after experiencing such a traumatic event. Tracing the Steps is a comprehensive resource with guides, checklists, and practical tips to help survivors navigate the process of reporting, surviving, and seeking justice from the hospital, to reporting, and every other challenge that comes along the way.

Survivors Guide

An intuitive and actionable guide with step-by-step information including the ability to document, record, and store details for your case to refer back to as needed. No more sifting through the mountain of links provided through other services with little context.

Legal Roadmaps

Aside from reporting the crime you experienced to law enforcement, it's very likely you'll need legal assistant along the way. Our legal roadmap will help you navigate the legal challenges you will face. It will also call out all the times you will need to advocate for yourself and how.

Survivor's Community

Surviving such a traumatic experience like a sex crime is extremely overwhelming. The way you feel will change from day to day and it can feel very lonely. Tracing the Steps provides a safe space for you to share, vent, get advice, and find community that can truly understand and relate to what you're going through.
